What is TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local. self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TED×SMMMSchool, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TED×SMMMSchool event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TED events, including ours, are self-organized.

In essence & spirit of TED, TED×SMMMSchool aims forward to host the biggest TEDx events in this region connecting the thought leaders, academics, change-makers & entrepreneurs to bring about a social change or share an idea worth spreading.

TED has established The Audacious Proiect that takes a collaborative approach to funding ideas with the potential to create change at thrilling scale: TEDx. which supports individuals or aroups in hostina local. self- organized TED-stvle events around the world. and the TED Fellows program. helping world-changing innovators from around the alobe to amolify the impact of their remarkable proiects and activities.
